Mount Tochal is a part of the Alborz Range, located the north of the capital. The mount is 3962 meters high and its southern slope is adjacent to Tehran City. Zagros, the Longest Range of Mountains in Iran

With a length of 1400 meters, Zagros is the longest range of mountain in Iran. This maountain Range passes through the western and southwestern regions of Iran. Dena, with a height of 4409 meters, is the highest mount of Zagros. Oshtoran Kuh and Zardkooh are also among the important mountains of this region.

With a length of 90 Km, Dena is the highest mountain fold in Zagros Mountains Range. This sub-range stretches in Isfahan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and Fars Provinces.
