You will be met on arrival at Tehran International Airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 1

Start your exploration by sightseeing in Shiraz. First, visit Nasir-ol-molk Mosque, also known as Pink Mosque, and Narenjestan e Ghavam Garden, named after the oranges in the courtyard. Next, visit Hafiz Tomb, one of the most famous mystics and poets of Iran who was admired by Goethe. Then proceed to Karim Khan Citadel and visit the outline of its construction and Vakil Bazaar.

Day 2

Depart Shiraz for Abadeh. On the way, visit Persepolis, listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites. Then proceed to Nasqsh-e Rustam; which contains four graves of the first Achaemenid Emperors, Darius the Great, Xerxes, Artaxerxes I and Darius II, carved into the cliff. At the end, visit Pasargadae where you can find the tomb of Cyrus the great. You finally take the road to Abadeh, a small stopover town between Shiraz and Isfahan.

Day 3

Depart Abadeh for Kuhrang Town where embraces many spectacular attractions. Spend overnight in a camp in Chamaah at the height of 2400 m.

Day 4

This day is devoted to discovering the Zagros Mountains. Therefore, you go hiking for 7 hours in the Zagros Mountains, which are important environmentally because of their biodiversity, in order to meet Bakhtiary Nomads. You spend overnight in a nomad camp at the height of 2200 m.

Day 5

In the morning, you go hiking in the widest part of the valley located in the higher point at the elevation of 3000 m. Then you set up a camp next to Kouhrang Spring or the river in lower height in Zardkouh shelter.

Day 6

You discover the upstream of the Kouhrang valley, the ravines and the small valleys around the pastures of Chamaa village for 6 hours then depart the mountains for Isfahan and stay overnight in a hotel in Isfahan.

Day 7

On this day, you explore Isfahan, also known as “half of the world”. Start sightseeing in Isfahan by visiting Chehel Sotoun Palace which is a good example for Persian garden. Then visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the historical monuments around including Imam Mosque, the masterpiece of Persian architecture, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, also known as women’s mosque, Ali Qapu Palace and Grand Bazaar of Isfahan. At the end stroll alongside the Zayandeh Roud River and admire historical bridges.

Day 8

On this day, visit Jameh Mosque in Isfahan then you depart for Kashan where you admire the great Persian art and architecture. Call in at Historical Village of Abyaneh , also known as the Red Village because of its red soil and houses. In Kashan, you visit Fin Garden, listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites as an example for Persian garden and Agha Bozorg Mosque.

Day 9

Today, you drive towards the Alborz Mountains. First, you visit Tabatabaei Historical house, dating back to Qajar, was the house where Tabatabaei Family lived and represents Iran’s traditional residential architecture. On the way, visit Imamzadeh Hossein Holy Shrine, and the grave mosque of a son of the 8th Shia Imam, in Qazvin. You will reach the small village of Parachan, at 2200 meters above sea level and set up a camp there.

Day 10

You walk up the high valley of Tareykdareh to the pastures of Domche, at 3200 meters above sea level.

Day 11

Take a hike from Domche to Goosfand Sara, for 6 hours. On the way, you cross Meshe Chaal pass at the height of 3600 m.

Day 12

Hike down Goosfand Sara to Abgarm Larijan located at the height of 1250 m for 6 hours. On the way, you visit Dardjan and the bridge over the river at 1850 meter then you reach Maran Villages. Spend overnight in the hotel.

Day 13

Depart Abgarm Larijan and descend to Tehran, the capital of Iran. End your trip by sightseeing in Tehran including Tajrish Bazaar, Imamzadeh Saleh and if time permits, Sa’dabad Complex. You will serve dinner in Darband Valley.

Day 14

Transfer to Imam Khomeini International Airport.
